today was a shocking day

i was busy with my day

and suddenly i heard the the shocking news of the King of Pop passing away

i was so shocked and bewildered

despite the fact that i hardly listened to him, i knew his legend

he was and is the King of Pop

without him we would of never had Britney Spears to BoA

speaking of truth i've never really listened to Michael Jackson

i was born in the late 80's so i've always thought he was part of the 'oldies'

but today i've realized how i was truly wrong..

i turned on the radio and it was playing Billie Jean

i've heard this song so many times

but today i realized how fantastic this song is

it's beat, it's melody, it's lyrics are just so magnificient

and all day Billie Jean was stuck in my head

i can't believe i've missed the pop legend

and realized his greatness after he passed away

no more billie jean

no more moon walks

a truly magical and legendary person

R.I.P. Michael Jackson

you'll be dearly missed.

i went to beverly center

yes.. it's definitely a great place to window shop LOL

it's just fun to walk around

esp. when you need the airconditioning and shopping but you don't need the sunlight haha

last weekend i went to melrose

melrose is always fun to just walk around and window shop haha

melrose has some fantastic vintage items

it's like treasure hunting that is literally a mile long lol

these pictures were taken in an alley miraculously found between shops in the heart of melrose

it felt like a back alley of venice

gawd i would love to live there for many reasons haha

my fantastic FULL COURSE DINNER.

i had a fantastic full course dinner with my family :)

we went to this sushi place in koreatown

gosh it was so damn gooooooooooooood

this place was HEAVEN

everything was melting in my mouth like it was meant to be there

i could live in this place right along with urban outfitters ahahahahaha

they are so awesome from the fact that they are so subtle yet so outstanding

it would be the perfect casual shoes for places you want to dress up but not too over the top

which is around 200 dollars

the sun finally came out and about

it's been like a YEAR since i saw the sun in full scale lol

i was definitely going through sun withdrawal :(

the sun felt so damn good

i was standing outside in awe cuz it was so bright and shiny haha

it's funny how you can miss the simplest and the most basic form of life so much

my lesson of the day was appreciating things when you have it

but i guess they do live up to their name (kind of)

they still have the simple minimal style which i like

and the oversized-turtleneck(?) is really cool

(who woulda thought turtlenecks could be cool haha)

but it just doesnt bring back the great memories of the past.. lol
